For nearly fifty years, The Young Engineers, Inc. has been an industry-leading designer and manufacturer of aircraft and aerospace hardware, with a primary focus on fasteners and related hardware for honeycomb panels and composite materials. Our extensive product lines consist of various industry-standard and proprietary self-locking, molded-in, mechanically attached, floating-nut and clearance-hole fasteners, along with rivet inserts, tensile fasteners, clinch nuts, and related installation tooling.

Our quality management system has been certified by Det Norske Veritas (DNV) to ISO9001:2008 and EN/JISQ/AS9100:2004 for the design and manufacture of precision metallic and non-metallic components and specialty fastening products for the aerospace industry. Our Quality System is approved by the Federal Aviation Administration, and we have Technical Standard Order (TSO) C148 authorization on all applicable fastening products. We are also on the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency's Qualified Suppliers List for Manufacturers (QSLM) for Class 3 Threaded Fasteners (Cage Code 56958), and Nadcap certified for Chemical Processes, and were one of only two companies in the world to receive Nadcap Fastener Manufacturer accreditation.

We continuously work with various OEMs on the development and refinement of aircraft fasteners, and have introduced numerous novel fasteners to the industry in recent years, including: a full line of self-locking and clearance hole fasteners made from high-strength composites (thermoplastics); floating nut fasteners with dual locking and independent floating nuts; and fasteners that incorporate an elastomeric isolation device.
